Gutter downspout drain installations are our specialty. We install high-quality downspout drains that connect your gutter system to a safe drainage point to direct rainwater away from your home’s foundation. This prevents water from pooling around your house, reducing the risk of foundation damage, erosion, and basement flooding.
Our installation process includes carefully digging trenches to the proper depth and slope to ensure optimal water flow. We use durable materials, secure pipe connections, and perform proper backfilling to provide a long-lasting solution.
Effectively manage surface water on driveways, patios, and other hardscapes with our channel drain installation service. The process begins with precise measurements and marking the installation area. We then excavate a trench to the required depth and gradient for optimal drainage.
Durable channel drains are securely placed and connected to the drainage system. Proper backfilling and surface restoration help the drain fit naturally into your landscaping.
Our curtain drain installation service effectively diverts groundwater away from your property. The process starts with evaluating your landscape to determine the best placement. We then dig a trench, line it with filter fabric, and add a layer of gravel. Perforated pipes are installed to collect and redirect water. The trench is filled with more gravel and covered with soil.
Footing drains protect your foundation from water damage. Our process begins with a thorough site assessment to determine the ideal drainage layout. We then dig a trench around the foundation, install perforated pipes at the footing level, and cover them with gravel so the water flows. A layer of filter fabric prevents clogging, and the trench is backfilled with soil.
Our Catch Basin Installation service prevents water pooling in your yard. We begin by assessing your property to determine the optimal placement for the catch basin.
A hole is then dug to the required depth, and the catch basin is securely installed. We connect it to your existing drainage system using durable pipes. The area around the basin is backfilled with soil and restored to match your yard.
Our skilled team installs the system carefully to achieve optimal water collection.
Over time, your drains can become clogged with leaves, dirt, roots, and other debris, which leads to drainage problems. Regular maintenance can help prevent these issues.
Using specialized equipment to snake through your pipes, we can effectively clear clogs from all types of outdoor drains, including gutter downspouts, channel drains, curtain drains (French drain), and footing drains.
If you’re experiencing persistent clogs, slow drainage, or suspect damage, video camera pipe inspection is the smart way to identify hidden issues in your drainage system.
We use a high-resolution camera attached to a flexible rod to navigate through your pipes. The live feed allows our technicians to pinpoint blockages, cracks, or other problems without the need for digging. This precise diagnosis enables targeted repairs, saving you time and money while ensuring your drainage system works efficiently.
Our outdoor pipe repair service addresses damage to your drainage pipes that can lead to serious water issues. Cracks, breaks, or leaks in outdoor pipes can cause issues in your yard or water to get in your home eventually.
Using advanced techniques, we locate the damaged sections, excavate, and repair or replace them as needed. Our skilled team properly seals and aligns the pipes to restore optimal water flow.

We’re out protecting homes from water in and around the following cities:
Roof water that is not taken away from the home or business can cause damage to the foundation and/or basement as well as promote mold growth. In many cases, water issues can be completely avoided & resolved by simply draining the gutter water away from the structure.
Typically, a 4” PVC drainage pipe is used for most applications, while some cases may require an upgrade to 6” pipe. PVC stands for polyvinyl chloride; A synthetic resin that the pipe is made up of. This material is specifically designed for outdoor drainage applications.
Enough to grow grass back over the pipe, leaving at least 3-4 inches of dirt on top. Downspout drainage pipes do not have to be buried deep underground. It’s more important to maintain proper pitch to ensure the water flows smoothly and consistently to its destination.
The water from the gutters is dispersed either out to daylight or out through a ‘pop up system’. When brought to daylight, the very end of the pipe is exposed in an area that will allow for further natural drainage.
‘A pop up system’ acts as a mini drywell. The pipe remains underground ending in a small gravel pit, which is also buried underground. The water is then allowed to disperse into the gravel. The pop up fitting is placed on top to allow an escape for excess water when the drywell becomes fully saturated.
If you’re having standing water in your driveway or patio or flooding in your garage, a channel drain would be the best solution as it’s meant to drain water from hard-scaped surfaces.
Outlets are installed either at the end, bottom, or side of the channel/trench. These are then connected to PVC piping that is pitched to bring water out to daylight or into another drainage system on the property.
It is a good idea to have a channel drain periodically inspected or cleaned, particularly if there are a lot of trees in the surrounding area.
If you’re finding standing water on your lawn or need to protect a structure from surface water runoff, a curtain drain would be the best solution for you.
Yes and no. A French Drain is just a vague term used to describe a drain consisting of pipe and gravel. It can be said that a Curtain Drain is a “French Drain” that is strategically placed in a specific area in order to perform a specific function; mainly diverting water away from a structure or flooded area.
It depends on a number of factors including the percolation rate of the soil, the application of the drain, and the aesthetic preferences of the customer. Exposed drains are typically needed when there is a heavy presence of clay on site or to handle excessive amounts of water at high rates. Exposed drains are often times “dressed up” using decorative stone, depending on the customer’s preference. If the drain is covered with topsoil , many times a swale will be created over the drain in order to trap the surface water and allow enough time for it percolate through the dirt and into the drain. A layer of filter fabric is always placed over the drain, preventing any sediment from settling into the gravel or the pipe.
If your basement floor is experiencing excessive flooding and water damage, or if your foundation walls are cracked or leaking, these are strong indicators that you are in need of a footing drain.
Both. The cracks in your foundation most certainly need to be repaired, but we also want to address what most likely is causing the damage. In most cases, it is the lack of proper drainage at the footing which causes a buildup of excess water along the foundation walls, thus compromising the integrity of the foundation.
Having a functioning and properly placed drain around your foundation’s footing will draw any water trapped under the floor by means of hydrostatic pressure. Basically, water always follows the path of least resistance, and the gravel in the footing drain creates an easy path for the water to run into the drain pipe and away from the basement.
If your landscape causes water to flow toward and pool in one area of lower elevation.
The catch basin collects water from an area with excess water and diverts it away via piping for proper drainage.
Yes, a properly installed catch basin is designed to handle heavy rainfall and stormwater runoff.
If water drains quickly and there are no signs of pooling or backups, your drains are functioning optimally.
You can divert excess water using various methods such as installing gutter downspout extensions, French drains, channel drains, or swales to direct water away from your home and yard.
Your yard may be muddy due to poor drainage, compacted soil, low-lying areas, or an inadequate slope that prevents water from properly draining away.
The best drainage system depends on your yard’s specific issues and layout. Common solutions include French drains, catch basins, curtain drains, and channel drains. A professional assessment can determine the most effective system for your property.
Yes, we are fully insured and licensed in Dutchess, Putnam, and Westchester Counties.
Regular maintenance is crucial to keep your drainage system functioning properly. It’s recommended to inspect and clean your drainage system at least once a year, or more frequently if you experience heavy rainfall or notice drainage issues.
